ehcache-debugger causing UnmarshalException when replicating

Description

I have been defining two new distributed caches using ehcache-1.6.0-beta3.jar. The first cache has a complex serializable object as the cached value and the other a String. I have been running two independent web applications on Tomcat-5.5 servers and then starting up ehache-debugger-1.5.0 before testing.

As a result the String cache worked fine and I could see the RMI messages being sent between each replicated cache. The complex object cache failed with the below exception;

After many hours of debugging it was proven that the failure was caused by the introducion of the echache-debugger. As soon as that was removed from the equation the system worked correctly.
